Hailing from Gainesville, Florida, Against Me! is a punk rock band formed in 1997. Despite claims by the band that no one liked them early in their career, they kept at it and finally signed to a big label in 2005. They’ve lost and added members, matured (somewhat), and evolved into a powerhouse in the genre. In fact, by 2008 Rolling Stone magazine had named them Best Punk Band.
