The 27 Club is an unlikely group of talented musicians who passed away at the young age of 27- sometimes under mysterious circumstances.
In 1994 the world of rock mourned when Kurt Cobain, barely 27, allegedly shot himself while high on drugs. Twenty-five years earlier, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Brian Jones, all legendary musicians, died at the age of 27. Many rockers have died at this age before them and the curse continues- this year Zambian musician, Lily Tembo died at 27.
