Postcards from my Mind is a journey through the imagination of a 5 year old girl named Twinkle. Looking for something to do in her bedroom, Twinkle “embarks” on a pretend play adventure with her Scratch doll (Scratch, the furry blue wolf, is Maestroville’s resident town DJ). Twinkle and Scratch go on vacation to Maestroville’s Hotel Parazone on the famous Maestro Beach.
Little Maestros received critical acclaim for their first two albums Welcome Home To Maestroville and Word Is On The Playground.

The Lemonheads’ second album for Atlantic Records was an unforgettable gem. Powered by infectious melodic hooks and a mix of sweet and subversive lyrics, IT’S A SHAME ABOUT RAY helped put the band on the map in 1992. Rhino honors the album with the label’s special Collector’s Edition treatment, remastering and expanding the original for a CD/DVD set that includes unreleased demos along with the DVD debut of the 1993 video Two Weeks In Australia. IT’S A SHAME ABOUT RAY will be available March 25 at all physical retail outlets and www.rhino.com for a suggested list price $24.98. A digital version that includes all the CD content will also be available the same day for $10.99 from all digital retailers.
The album features the trio — Evan Dando (guitar, vocals), David Ryan (drums) and Juliana Hatfield (bass, backing vocals) — breezing through 13 songs in just under 30 minutes, including the title track, “My Drug Buddy,” “The Turnpike Down” and a romping cover of the Simon and Garfunkel classic “Mrs. Robinson.”
The 10 bonus tracks feature “Shaky Ground,” which was originally released as the B-side to “My Drug Buddy.” The remaining nine songs are unreleased demos that Dando recorded in 1991, including early renditions of album tracks “Confetti,” “Rockin Stroll” and “Hannah & Gabi,” plus “Bit Part,” which includes vocals from Hatfield.
The DVD contains 45 minutes of videos and live performances that were previously released only on VHS as Two Weeks In Australia. The disc features videos for several songs from IT’S A SHAME ABOUT RAY, including the title track, the breakout single “Mrs. Robinson,” “My Drug Buddy” and more. Also included is a video for “Being Around,” a song that would appear a year later on the follow-up to RAY and “Half The Time” from the Lemonheads’ Atlantic debut, Lovey. A trio of live performances include “Alison’s Starting To Happen,” “Ride With Me” from Lovey and “It’s About Time” from 1993’s Come On Feel The Lemonheads. The DVD also features candid commentary by Dando recalling the band’s wild Australian antics.

New Found Glory’s best-of CD, Hits, available March 4th!!!
Snippet stream of “Situations” (unreleased track):
Snippet stream of “Hit or Miss (Waited Too Long)”:
Angst fueled by hooky guitar riffs and old-school hardcore breakdowns. Defiant, yet upbeat. One of the first bands to fuse emo and punk-pop, add a tinge of hardcore, and bring it to the mainstream, New Found Glory has sold nearly 3-million albums while delivering the quintessential rock sound of the 2000s–melodic, fun, and personable. Countless gold- and platinum-selling bands have credited New Found Glory for being the inspiration that sparked their own formation. Now, for the first time, all of the band’s best-loved singles and album cuts have been brought together for Hits. (DriveThru/Suretone/MCA/Geffen/UMe), released March 4, 2008.
Hits also includes a couple of rare gems–”Constant Static,” previously available only as a Japanese album bonus cut, and “Situations” (streamed on the Warped Tour Website for only one month and never before commercially available). All of the tracks were personally selected by the band members.
Founded as A New Found Glory (the “A” was later dropped), the group formed in Coral Springs, Florida, in 1997. After an indie EP and debut album, Nothing Gold Can Stay, singer Jordan Pundik, lead guitarist Chad Gilbert (formerly of hardcore band Shai Hulud), guitarist Steve Klein, bassist Ian Grushka and drummer Cyrus Bolooki made their major label debut with 2000’s self-titled album. Including the Top 20 Modern Rock hit “Hit or Miss” as well as “Dressed To Kill,” the album was boosted by a tour with Blink-182, sold-out headlining tours, and a spot on the Warped Tour, and eventually was certified gold.
New Found Glory’s most recent album, the movie covers project From The Screen To Your Stereo Part II, was released in September 2007, and a new album is expected in summer 2008.
