Here’s a great list of the 28 Most Recognizable Guitars of All Time compiled by Blender.com and complete with a YouTube video showcasing each instrument in action. My favorites gotta be Jimmy Page’s double neck, but what the hell is Angus Young doing so high??

Texas based Lylah, the brainchild of vocalist/guitarist Norman Matthew, have since become an underground phenomenon of their own, touring with the likes of Evanescence, Static-X, Sevendust and as a part of the Vans Warped Tour.

So this video is kind of in honour of the new “D-sides” release by the Gorillaz, and I could have taken a video from that album to feature, but nothing has the impact that this first Gorillaz video for “Clint Eastwood” does. This video was the worlds introduction to the first cartoon band ever and wow was it awesome. The animation is pretty spectacular and somehow right off the bat I made a connection with the characters… what first sounded gimmicky (all cartoon band) now had a face and the characters were actually interesting. I remember wanting to watch these characters do more and play more music. I was immediately a Gorillaz fan. Check out this video for the nostalgia, and then check out “D-sides”, its pretty awesome:
