In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and the upcoming DVD release of George A. Romero’s latest horror masterpiece DIARY OF THE DEAD, we are pleased to announce the winning short films from five young rising directors selected from a nationwide contest launched earlier this year on MySpace.
After hundreds of aspiring amateurs submitted their original shorts on Myspace to be judged by their peers, ultimately it was Romero who had to decide on the winners. He handpicked the top five short films and awarded the grand prize to the most impressive short, The Final Day, a terrorizing zombie tale from Paul Del Vecchio (director/producer), David R.
