The premise of this movie is simple; 3 disgruntled employees trying to kill their despicable bosses. Ok, so this comedy may not have the most elaborate script but the stellar cast surely makes up for the script’s obvious shortcomings.
This buddy comedy follows the trend of movies like Old School, Wedding Crashers and more recently the Hangover series. In other words, Horrible Bosses relies, and rightly so, on the chemistry between the actors. More specifically, the interactions between the employees, Kurt (Jason Sudeikis), Nick (Jason Bateman) and Dale (Charlie Day) which are near perfect.Their performance showcases the actors’ ability to improvise and their impeccable comedic timing, a necessity for these three television stars. continue reading...
