Are you a Grey’s Anatomy fan, casual viewer, curious bystander or male hostage of the show? Well do I have a treat for you, in this video review (by yours truly), I take a look at the core of the show with a female perspective in tow.

In case you haven’t heard of (or seen) the American medical drama TV series, it follows the lives of interns, residents and their mentors in the fictional Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital (formerly Seattle Grace Hospital) in Seattle, Washington.

The pilot premiered on ABS in 2005. Since then, five seasons have aired, and the sixth season began on September 24, 2009. It has been confirmed that the cast has signed on for at least eight seasons, which would keep the show on the air until at least Spring 2012 (did that info just please hundreds of women?).

While I’m partial to Scrubs myself (I like the funny), I have to pay my respect to Grey’s Anatomy as it won two Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes, plus the show is one of the most watched prime time television series.

In this review we mostly take a look at the earlier seasons generally…but mostly discover the template for why women love it, and its evolution between now and the future of what outrageous drama-ness it offers.

Plus, we’re damn funny! Enjoy!
