The Dark Knight has been hailed as the best thing since sliced bread, therefore who would be better suited to restore Superman to his former glory then Batman director Christopher Nolan?
Apparently the answer is nobody, as Nolan is taking on the job in the producer role (with a possibility of directing). If anything is certain today, it’s that the timeless and terrible Batman & Superman Movie idea that has been floating around since the 80s just got a step closer to reality. Isn’t it bad enough that Batman was given a little boy in short shorts named after an adorable bird? I hate you Robin.
So anyways… back to the topic at hand. Can Chris Nolan repeat his former success? He has promised that the new Superman movie will have a hook. Well I certainly hope so Chris, an invincible superhero with a god complex that can turn back time by flying really fast isn’t as compelling as a rich psycho in a Bat costume with a gruff voice.
