Wow that’s unexpected. Not only is Hollywood going ahead with a smurfs movie, but Neil Patrick Harris has been cast in the disaster masterpiece.
I think it’s pretty fitting that Harris is set to appear as the human character in the hybrid flick which messes both CGI and live action. Think about this, you’d have to be pretty stoned to imagine little blue mushroom people.
Still, announcing that it will follow in the footsteps of Scooby-Do and Alvin and the chipmunks is not a smart move. Those were the cinematic equivalent of dumpster diving! Come on Neil, use your break from doing your TV show to bring back a respectable role like Dr. Horrible!
