Nichelle Nichols
Date of Birth: December 28, 1932
Nichols is an American actress, singer, and voice artist. Her most famous role is that of communications officer Lietenant Uhura aboard the USS Enterprise on the popular television series Star Trek, as well as the subsequent motion pictures.
She is credited with televisions first black-white interracial kiss, which she shared with William Shatner.
