The home of the Nittany Lion, Happy Valley and Coach Joe Patterno is now number one! Number one, on Princeton’s List of American party schools.
Every year, the Princeton Review tabulates a list of top 20 rankings of schools across the United States, but its party school ranking is its claim to fame.
Moving up from the third spot on Princeton’s Review, Penn State claimed the title from last year’s winner, the University of Florida, which will this year be known as the second best party school.
As usual, the top party school ranks were dominated by the large state universities, but smaller schools have finally started to make their mark!
Here’s the rankings according to the 2009-10 list:

4- University of Georgia
5- Ohio University
6- West Virginia University
7- The University of Texas at Austin
8- The University of Wisconsin-Madison
9- Florida State University
10- University of California-Santa Barbara

15- Indiana University

17- University of Tennessee
