Organic foods and a no-sugar diet are not the only secret to having a healthy little one- the actually secret lays with the mama.
According to a recent study, mothers who work part-time are more likely to have healthier children than those who work full-time or who are not in the workforce at all.
The study, “Do working mothers raise couch potato kids?” revealed that kids who had a mom working part-time watched less tv and followed a healthier lifestyle.
Personally, I think this makes total sense! When you balance your time between work and being a mom you are forced to make plans, but then you also have the time and energy to follow-through with them. When you’re at home all day, you are more apt to go with the flow and when you work all day you just want to plop the kids in front of the tv with a microwavable dinner.
It goes to show that women truly are super heroes who do it best, when they do it all!
