Because, after driving the brand new Jaguar XJ Supercharged, I kinda think it is.

I’ve only driven this car for, maybe, 30 minutes. I picked it up at the dealer and drove it home. And for the entire journey home I had a grin on my face. I think I may have giggled like a schoolgirl at one point too — oh, that’s right, when I put it in “S” and gave it some gas.

Truly amazing.

There’s something utterly fantastic about the way Jaguar builds it’s high-performance vehicles. From the XKR to the XFR and now this brand new XJ, they combine perfect luxury with a speed that’s just goosebumply (yes, I made up a word to describe the speed).

I keep looking out my living room window to check that it’s still there, and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel again to really give the XJ a go. I’ve waited ages to drive this beast, and it was well worth it.
