Apparently, Sam’s Club is getting into search engine marketing services. Sam’s Club is Walmart’s answer to Costco/Price Club. On the surface, this is an April Fool’s joke, right?
Wrong. This makes sense. For one parent company Walmart is all about offering discounts and introducing efficiency to inefficient markets. Say what you want about putting out mom and pop businesses, but did those companies really have strong businesses to begin with? Were it not Walmart, then someone else would have entered the market.
