Yesterday LinkedIn came out and said that it would open up its platform, in 9 months. Probably due to a fear of becoming irrelevant in a Facebook-hyped World.
Today Plaxo came out and retooled considerably, apparently they’ve toned down the spam, which prompted me to pen “Masters of Nuisance: Plaxo or LinkedIn?” and have adopted a neutral stance to allow them to weave through all of the different networks out there. I just got an email from Plaxo. I do not know if I had not gotten one in a while (yeah, right) or if I have grown immune to them.
