July is a month that has become synonymous with independence, freedom and liberty.
On July 4th, 1776, America claimed independence from Britain.
On July 14th, 1789, the French stormed La Bastille (Prise de la Bastille, as ze French would say) and unleashed the French Revolution, creating the modern French nation.
It’s fitting then, that July 2007 marks the complete unleashing of WatchMojo.com’s vast, massive archive of 4,000 video clips onto the Web.
After producing and publishing our library of proprietary video clips from January 2006 - July 2006 on WatchMojo.com in a restrcited fashion and then syndicating it ourselves across a plethora of distribution partners, we’re on the verge to relaunch our video site WatchMojo.com and allow fully embeddable clips online.
The reasons for this are obvious and less obvious, and I’ll review them when the big day comes around outlining some of the unique challenges and opportunities of being a content producer online, why we chose the route we did (and who we chose etc).
