Re: Part 2, I agree that MySpace looks like the best one ever, considering how it totally transplanted the most global and diverse old media company into a powerhouse online, but it’s too early to tell… imagine if they get hit with a massive fine over the UMG lawsuit, will it still be so genius?
And with regards to Ask.com, I am not sure it’s such a bad idea, since Diller wanted to take IAC into search and this was one of the few options… of course, $2B is a lot of money.
